Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Soft Melody Candles. We take great care in preparing and shipping each order. Please review our shipping policy below before placing your order.

1. Order Processing Time

All Soft Melody Candles products are handmade and hand-poured. Please allow 3–7 business days for order processing before shipment. Processing times may increase during high-volume periods, holidays, or special promotions.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

 

2. Shipping Rates & Carriers

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location, package weight, and selected shipping method. We ship using trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx.

We currently ship within the United States only.

 

3. Shipping Time Estimates

Shipping times vary depending on your location and carrier. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by carrier delays, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control.

Soft Melody Candles is not responsible for shipping delays once the package has been handed over to the carrier.

 

4. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate at checkout. Soft Melody Candles is not responsible for packages delayed, returned, or lost due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for additional shipping fees to reship the order.

 

5. Lost or Stolen Packages

Soft Melody Candles is not responsible for lost or stolen packages marked as “delivered” by the carrier. If your package is marked delivered but not received, please contact the carrier directly to file a claim.

 

6. Damaged Items

We carefully package all candles to prevent damage during transit. If your order arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery 
  • Provide clear photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging 

We will review the issue and, if approved, offer a replacement or store credit at our discretion.

 

7. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are non-refundable, including in cases of refused deliveries, returned packages, or order cancellations after shipment.

 

8. Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled within 12 hours of purchase. Once an order has entered processing or has shipped, it cannot be canceled.

 

9. Weather Considerations

Extreme temperatures may affect candles during transit. Soft Melody Candles is not responsible for melting or cosmetic changes caused by heat exposure during shipping.

 

10. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update or modify this Shipping Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
